I tried a brush pen for the first time today and thought it was great! Mind you, I didn't do a whole lot with it but I love the line variety it gives and I loved not having to dip a brush! The one I have is the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen.
ooh lovely! i just got a couple of brush pens as a gift a few months ago. first thing i did was doodle a bit.. so fluid and fun, just a little pressure and it changes. i blogged about it too, of course :P
Someone gave me some Faber-Castell brush pens in different colors and sizes to try--they are fun to play with. I guess I'll have to try using them for an illustration one of these days.
Thanks for visiting my blog---our old Shasta camper was pretty small---my sister and I slept above my parents in canvas hammock-like beds that rolled up in the morning.

You've used the brush pen so well to create some very nice drawings. It really gives a good effect.
