Colored inks!

My husband was cleaning out our daughter's craft cabinet last weekend and he found 5 bottles of Winsor & Newton colored ink that I'd given her years ago.  The boxes have price stickers on them: $1.85 each at the university bookstore (where I bought them in the early 80's)!  I decided to see if they were still viable in any way and was so surprised to find out that they are still good!

    1. Wow, you really know your inks! They ARE Scarlet, Nut Brown and Blue! I also have Peat Brown and Veridian but I didn't try those yet.

    1. Thank you! The colored inks went down so much smoother than black ink with less bleeding. Too bad I still like black ink better!

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth! I think I need to buy a new bottle for comparison but the inks sure aren't showing their age!

  4. When I saw the note about the found pens I had to come look. Wow, great line work! The pink hair is terrific and I really like the way you've done the sky and clouds. Nice!

    1. Thank you, Cindy! I hope I find some other really old art supplies around here. It's been fun using them again (and laughing at the price tags)!
